Paintings are shown in four groups: Emergence Series, Cave Series, Landscapes, and Sold / Donated.
I have been told by people who visited my website and then saw the original paintings that the photos simply do not, and cannot, convey the true experience of the paintings themselves. This is because I use modeling and crackle pastes as well as textural mediums to build a third dimension (depth) in many of my works; photos cannot show this kind of real physical depth. I also use iridescence and interference colors; photos do not show the sheen or sparkle of iridescence or the subtle shift in color of interference paints. To see the shift that interference color produces you need to change your angle of viewing from side to side and up and down so that the light strikes the painting in different ways. It is almost like performing a dance in front of the paintings!
